About Horn Chart Central
Horn Chart Central was created mainly for the purpose of providing professional quality horn charts for cover bands. This goes for any type of cover band playing events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, etc. Having good quality horn charts are crucial for any professional horn section playing with a live band. Most professional wind instrumentalists are trained to read sheet music, so having quality charts for their respective instrument ensures that everyone in the horn section is on the same page structurally and harmonically.
Having horn charts specific to a band also means that a band can potentially hire out a horn section that has never played with them before to play a rehearsal/gig. As long as the horn chart matches what the band is doing, any professional instrumentalist can come in and make it work with a horn chart.
These charts can also be used for any individual instrumentalist just looking for sheet music to practice or play along with a song of their choice.
About the founder
The founder of Horn Chart Central, Jesse Baker, is an active freelance trumpeter, educator, horn arranger in Atlanta, Georgia. Jesse has attained most of his horn arranging experience from writing the horn charts for the band Mixtape. As a member of Mixtape, he also enjoys performing his arrangements at numerous public events per year.
